Apparently Texas just wasn't big enough for her because Lindsay is headed to the biggest state in the Union on the next leg of this extended journey. From one port city to another, quite literal, port city, Lindsay is headed to a place defined by scenic views and dramatic mountain ranges. In fact, the largest mountain peak in North American is only 130 miles from this city's downtown, and can actually be seen on clear days. For comparison, that would be similar to Lindsay being able to see down to San Diego on a clear day in Los Angeles (And, yes, clear days do happen in Los Angeles. But, no, we will likely never see all the way to San Diego). But, that is only one of 6 mountain ranges visible from this city. Perhaps less visible, but equally notable evidence of mountain production, this city holds claim to being affected by the strongest ever recorded earthquake in North America at 9.2 on the Richter Scale. Let's hope Lindsay's visit is productive, but perhaps only part of a metaphoric tectonic shift in the area. In case you still need some more insight into her destination, below are two great videos: one from the John Denver Show (because the man knows geography and casual large-scale singalongs), and another full of musings from what appears to be an actual resident of this city. Do you know "Where in the U.S.A. is Lindsay?"
