Need I say anything more? Well, yes, this being a blog, I certainly do, so here goes. This year brought another opportunity to visit the
AKC Eukanuba National Championship in Long Beach. While Lindsay was sadly out of town this year, Brent was able to convince our friends the Coopers to join him for the dog-extravaganza. And, as expected, it did not disappoint in the least. The event delivered on multiple accounts: insight into unique cultural activities, varied and interesting fashion choices, crafts to rival any holiday bazaar the world over, and, most importantly, dogs, dogs, and more dogs! It had K-9 dog demonstrations, dogs jumping for distance and height, dogs running agility courses, dogs fully coiffed and groomed for competition, and best of all, booths where visitors could meet over 200 different breeds of dogs (yes, there was much petting to be had). Below are some photos and video highlights of the day. Our only regret is that next year the dog show is moving to Florida for a four-year run, so we will sadly have to be without such a dogged pursuit of canine excellence.

| Who wants it more? |
 |
| Newfoundlands Meet the Breed booth - this year's theme was Lewis and Clark. |
 |
| West Highland White Terriers booth - definitely included Photoshopped movie posters. Amazing. |
