Aliens in Them Thar Residential Towers!

Click to see the cartographic destruction of our neighborhood thanks to Hollywood
Is that an alien spaceship in the sky or just a bit of Hollywood magic?  Not a question most people encounter in their daily life, but when you live in LA you just never know what might come up.  Such as a new movie trailer that is centered around an alien invasion in your neighborhood using cover shots of the place that you work.  Yes, our lives are suddenly, and wonderfully entertwined wih the new movie "Skyline," opening 11-12-10, which is the brainchild of directors Colin and Greg Strause and is filmed almost exclusively at their condo building in Marina Del Rey just down the street from our apartment.  So, pretty much the entire movie is filmed with cover shots of our neighborhood being devoured by invading alien spaceships. So, you can see the DSW we shop at, and the Baja Fresh we have been known to frequent in between the masses of human bodies being sucked up into advanced extra-terrestrial flying technologies.  Will we be seeing this new opus in the theaters?  Naturally, although you might say we have already lived the entire movie everyday for the past year (minus the hovering, tentacle-shooting, aliens above us).  More on the film at the official website.

Lindsay's workplace making one of many appearances in the trailer.  Oh boy - we thought traffic was bad on a normal day, but today is going to be a doozy.
