What better way to celebrate Mother's Day than with a trip to Lindsay's mother region, the great Northwest? (Of course, a trip in June might have been even more fitting since this city hosted the first Father's Day celebration on June 19th, 1910.) Known as the "Lilac City," this city also hosted the first environmentally-themed World's Fair, and holds a little-cited but definitely singular title as the largest city between Minneapolis and Seattle. Among its other achievements, the city has also birthed a number of notable athletes and celebrities, including Bing Crosby, who very well may have been dreaming of this city's seasonal snowfall in his hit "White Christmas." John Stockton, Mark Rypien, and Ryne Sandberg share Bing's "Lilac" lineage, and undoubtedly go gonzo for the well-loved university in the area. I am sure Lindsay would love to meet "Q", the school's live Bulldog mascot, although meeting Craig T. Nelson or Julia Sweeney might be a close second. Do you know "Where in the U.S.A. is Lindsay?"
