Venice has a network of adorable walk streets, or pedestrian only lanes that cut through the middle of a block with houses fronting the lane rather than a street. On a walk to get some coffee, we explored a few them and discovered that while cute, they do not drain well after a rain. Cue Lindsay tightroping the edge of a puddle . . .
